We have then helped them to prosper as mums and navigate life beyond. If you are reading this, then firstly congratulations! Prenatal fitness classes
Pregnancy is one of the most magical experiences you will ever have, but we understand that it can leave you feeling tired, emotional and different from your usual, vibrant self.
It is actually one of the most important times in your life to lean on experts to help you, as you navigate all the changes to your body and lifestyle.
This is where we come in! At Trang Fitness we are really passionate about helping you make the most of your pregnancy and find energy, so that you can continue to thrive and be your most wonderful self. We don’t want you to just ‘put up with it’.
Trust us, this time goes quickly and the work you put in now will reap rewards later in pregnancy, during labour and during your post natal recovery! So our ethos is to help you embrace all the challenges that it throws your way.
Train with a female personal trainer (and a mum)
At Trang Fitness, pregnancy training is delivered to mums by another mum.
Trang, our lead female personal trainer and gym owner, knows way too well the challenges that come before and after pregnancy because before being an amazing trainer, she is first a mother herself.
She is a certified personal trainer, with expertise in pilates, pregnancy training, weight-loss, performance training and she is also a sports massage therapist.
Trang’s postnatal and pregnancy exercise classes are all about getting stronger and confident while being supported by other women, training together at Dr Stretch gym - one of the best gyms in Islington.
When can you start your prenatal fitness journey?
We can begin your prenatal fitness programme whenever you feel the time is right for you. Whenever you feel the time is right, we can start your pregnant fitness routine. The intensity level will depend on a number of factors; how fit you were before your pregnancy, how hectic your lifestyle is and your medical history so all of this will be covered in the online consultation. PostNatal FITNESS CLASSES
After nine months of dramatic physical change, of course you may not end up feeling like yourself. The truth is, that if you don’t feel good, then naturally everything can feel overwhelming.
This is natural and normal, but luckily the power of movement and our companionship will help you to slowly start easing into your new role and life.
We make your postpartum easier for you, by helping you to carve out that much needed me-time in your week, and find energy on even the most sleep deprived days. Because we all know that a happy mum is a happy family.
The Importance of Recovery
Our postnatal fitness programmes are designed to ease you back to the same levels of fitness and health that you had before pregnancy in a safe and effective way. Although in some cases, our mums end up even stronger. Just as with our pre natal fitness programme, the post natal programmes are a journey, and the intensity will increase as and when we feel you are ready.
We start with Recovery & Repair to make sure that there are no long term issues as a result of pregnancy and labour. Working the deepest of muscle groups, we ensure the foundation is solid before we get going on other goals such as weight loss.
