We don't provide towels, we absolutely love people who bring their own sweat towels. They are our favourite people.
We sell bottled water for £1.40 so please bring your own water bottle because that's expensive for 500ml.
If you’ve got a dog, that’s great! We love dogs too. If you’ve taken them for a walk before your workout, that’s great too!
However wearing the same trainers that you’ve used on your dog walk into the gym will not win you any friends.
Please just wear indoor trainers or clean your dog walking trainers before you come and lift heavy stuff with us.

All classes have four spaces which is a very small number, so please book in to secure your space. and make sure you follow our rules to keep thing fair for everyone.
NO SHOW
A ‘no-show’ is when you do not come to a class that you are booked into. This is bad. You’re taking up a space in a class, potentially making someone else feel sad because they couldn’t get in. This is very bad.
So, don’t do that. If you do, then you are liable and loose your credit and pay £10 Fee. ( all fee will be donate to charity)
Cancelling
Cancelling means you’re not coming to a class. This makes us sad, but we understand. You can cancel the same way that you booked in - via the PT Minder app.
Texts, WhatsApps, FB messages, Letters, DMs, Phone calls or messages via friends are not acceptable ways to cancel your class.
Classes have a cancellation window - cancelling nice and early before this window is absolutely the best thing to do.
If you cancel within less than 24 hours of the class, then you are liable to pay for the class.
Our refund policies are strict because they enable us to pay our staff a fair wage, and remain accessible as a small family business gym.
Each week we get 8-10 requests and if we were to accommodate each one, we would be forced to lower our staff wages or increase our prices - both of which we really want to avoid.
We hope you understand that this is why there are no exemptions to our refund policies.
All communication regarding class attendance should be sent to liftingladies.islington@gmail.com.

If you put yourself on the waitlist you will be charged! PLEASE READ!
A nice orderly queue of people who are waiting to get into a full class.
If you’re in this queue it means you want to take a space in the class if it becomes available.
If a space becomes available at the class you will be automatically allocated a space from the waitlist and notified via email.
Please ensure you can make the class before you join the waitlist as you will be automatically charged upon being allocated a space. If you can no longer make the class you can remove yourself from the waitlist up to 24 hours in advance.
Cancellation Policy
If you are allocated a space from the waitlist you can cancel up to 24 hours in advance of the class without being charged. If you cancel within 24 hours you will be charged. We are unable to offer any refunds.
Your waitlists are huge!
They can be, but they also drop like a stone the night before, so if you’re on a waitlist you stand a good chance of getting in.
I was on a waitlist but I didn’t know I’d got into the class?
Turn your email and text notifications on. Otherwise you have to check manually, which is not very convenient.
I was added to a class from the waitlist but I don’t want the space so I cancelled / didn’t come.
You’re on a waitlist for a class. If you don’t want to be in the class don’t be on the waitlist.
Remove yourself from the waitlist the same way that you added yourself once you decide that you’re not coming to the class.
I was on the waitlist for the morning, but I went to bed and didn’t check to see whether I got in.
You’re on a waitlist for a class. If you don’t want to be in the class don’t be on the waitlist.
If you’re not going to get up in the morning and check whether you are in the class then remove yourself from the waitlist before you go to bed.
It didn’t look like I was going to get in, so I made other plans, then I was added!
Did we mention that if you don’t want to be in the class don’t be on the waitlist?
I’m waitlisted for 2 classes and I’m waiting to see which I get into.
This is a risky strategy, as you are potentially going to be added to 2 classes within the late cancel window.
Once you’re in the Late Cancel window you’re liable for a fee if you get added and then cancel. So, manage your waitlists appropriately and remove yourself once you decide on a class.
