What’s Involved In our women learn to lift class?
Our women-only weightlifting class is designed to help you feel stronger, more confident, and empowered in the gym. Each session focuses on safe lifting, proper technique, and progressive strength training—tailored to your level, whether you’re a complete beginner or already lifting.
What’s included in every class:
Warm-Up & Mobility – Activate muscles, improve flexibility, and prevent injury.
Technique Coaching – Learn squats, deadlifts, presses, and other key lifts with expert guidance.
Strength Training – Build lean muscle and strength through bodyweight and free-weight exercises, with progressive overload.

📅 Weekly Breakdown – What You’ll Learn
week 1 - Deadlift & Upper Body Pull
Posterior Chain Focus
Lower Body (Hinge Bias): Deadlift variations targeting hamstrings, glutes, and lower back.
Upper Body (Pulling): Rows and assisted pull-ups to strengthen back, biceps, and grip.
week 2 - Squat & upper body push
Anterior Chain Focus
Upper Body (Vertical Push): Barbell overhead press with a focus on alignment and shoulder control.
Lower Body (Squat Bias): Goblet and barbell back squats targeting quads, glutes, and inner thighs.
week 3 - Overhead press & squat
Anterior Chain Focus
Lower Body (Squat Bias): Goblet and barbell back squats targeting quads, glutes, and inner thighs.
Upper Body (Pushing): Dumbbell presses and bodyweight push-ups to work chest, shoulders, and triceps.
week 4 - Bench press & Stiff leg deadlift
Hybrid Chain
Upper Body (Horizontal Push): Bench press technique: grip, setup, and bar path.
Lower Body (Hinge Bias):
Stiff-leg deadlifts targeting the hamstrings, glutes, and lower back.

Ideal for anyone who's never used free weights or strength training equipment—even if you've been to the gym before. This course is required before joining regular Lifting Ladies sessions if you’re brand new to lifting.

Yes! This course is designed for beginners. You don’t need to be strong, slim, or know anything about lifting. You just need to show up. We’ll handle the rest.

We’ll tailor exercises and techniques to your body. Plus, the included injury assessment and assisted stretch ensures you move safely and build strength without pain.

After completing Learn to Lift, you’ll be ready to join the regular Lifting Ladies sessions — small group training where you continue lifting, progressing, and connecting. Think of Learn to Lift as your on-ramp to lifelong strength.
Feel free to attend as many Learn to Lift sessions as you’d like until you feel confident and ready to join Lifting Ladies.

Totally normal. Many women feel nervous before their first session — but that disappears quickly. The gym is women-only, non-intimidating, and welcoming. You’ll be guided every step of the way.

If you have no experience in the gym or using gym machines, the Learn to Lift program is required before joining the regular Lifting Ladies sessions.
If you already have gym experience, the Intro Offer is recommended.
